This workshop is designed to help those in the financial sector to learn more about XBRL and the adoption
of XBRL in their reporting and accounting. The workshop will provide you with an understanding of how to prepare XBRL documents
for the CSA Voluntary Filing Program (VFP) and includes presentations and discussions of proposals concerning the Canadian
Taxonomy Project, the goal of which is to significantly reduce the cost of financial institution filings for Canadian interests.

Fair Value Measurement: Meeting the Challenge

accounting process. New and more complex accounting standards require use of fair value. FASB has issued a standard
on fair value (FAS 157) and IASB and AcSB have issued a converged standard. This workshop addresses the most relevant
