Bruno Caron, Partner, Miller Thomson LLP

Bruno Caron's practice is primarily focused on corporate law, securities, financing, mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies and corporate governance. He is frequently retained as counsel on matters involving business restructuring, statutory arrangements, continuous disclosure requirements and shareholders' meetings. He has also acted as corporate secretary on the board of several public corporations. Mr. Caron assisted several brokerage firms in matters involving registration with securities regulators. He also regularly advises on matters involving derivatives regulations and derivatives data reporting obligations.

Craig Cross, Partner, Collins Barrow

Craig Cross provides guidance on the interpretation of accounting standards, supports engagement teams and oversees the development of training courses and tools with respect to accounting and financial reporting. A specialist in IFRS reporting, Craig is actively involved in discussion groups, and has participated in industry forums and roundtables centering around IFRS development and policy setting. He has 15 years of experience in professional services, including a secondment with the Ontario Securities Commission.

Stacey Ferguson, Manager of Accounting Policy and Research, Canadian Tire Corporation

Stacey Ferguson is involved in the implementation of new accounting standards and consults with the other members of the finance department on accounting topics including complex financial instruments, capitalization of assets and real estate accounting matters.

Mark Fernandez, Supervisor, Assurance and Advisory Services, SF Partnership

In his various roles in the public accounting sector, Mark Fernandez is experienced with servicing a variety of public entities, private companies, not-for-profit organizations and pension funds. His expertise spans IFRS, ASPE, and ASNPO, as well as the Canadian Auditing Standards. In his roles as a supervisor and a member of the quality assurance team, he provides internal and external consultation on complex accounting, auditing and financial reporting issues.

Brian Fiedler has 30 years of international business experience with leading firms such as Coca-Cola, Colgate Palmolive and Canadian Tire, in Canada and overseas in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia. He is a member of the Canadian Accounting Standards Oversight Council (AcSOC).

Heidi Franken, Manager, Office of the Whistleblower, Ontario Securities Commission

In addition to managing the OSC's Office of the Whistleblower, Heidi Franken also leads an investigation and litigation team within the Enforcement Branch specializing in Registrant misconduct. Prior to joining the Enforcement Branch, Ms. Franken held senior roles in the Corporate Finance Branch and prior to that, the Office of the Chief Accountant. Ms. Franken has led various OSC and CSA policy initiatives, including most recently the development and implementation of the OSCs new Whistleblower Program. Ms. Franken completed her Chartered Accountant designation with PWC.

Michael Gouveia, Manager, EY

Michael Gouveia has been with EY since 2009. He has gained IFRS, US GAAP and ASPE experience by working with public and private companies in a variety of industries. He has taken a lead role in large internal control improvement projects and has assisted companies with GAAP conversions and the preparation of financial statements, pro formas, and MD&As for capital market transactions, including new Canadian and US public offerings.

Sameer Merchant, Manager, EY

Sameer Merchant has 5 years of experience in EYs audit practice in which he developed proficiency in auditing, internal control compliance and financial reporting. Sameer now serves predominantly in an advisory capacity, in which he assists his clients in transitioning to IFRS from previous GAAP reporting frameworks. He lead audits and reviews of public and large private multinational clients in various sectors including manufacturing and mining, under both IFRS and U.S. GAAP.

Matthew Merkley, Partner, Blakes

Matthew Merkley represents clients in a wide variety of capital markets transactions and has expertise in advising public issuers and their boards on matters related to governance, compensation and disclosure. Matthew is the Co-Head of Blakes Toronto's Corporate Governance Practice and is a member of Ontario Securities Commission Continuous Disclosure Advisory Committee.

Lee Anne Probert, Partner, EY

Lee Anne Probert has over 19 years of experience, including 15 years of providing complex accounting, regulatory and financial reporting consultation services to audit Professional Practice group and currently as a member of EY's National Professional Practice group and currently as a member of EY's FAAS group. Lee Anne has detailed knowledge of IFRS, Canadian GAAP, U.S. GAAP and PSAB and practical experience in their application.

Katie Quinn, Senior Manager, Grant Thornton LLP

Katie Quinn is involved in assisting professional staff and clients with complex and judgmental accounting issues and educating Grant Thornton's assurance professionals. Prior to joining the National Accounting Standards Group in October 2012, Katie was a senior manager in Grant Thornton's assurance practice with a focus on public companies in the mining, oil and gas and energy sectors.

Rinna Sak, Partner, National Accounting Standards, Grant Thornton LLP

Rinna Sak oversees and participates in all important initiatives related to IFRS, including assessing complex and judgemental accounting and reporting issues for clients and professional staff, educating accounting professionals and external audiences and performing quality reviews. Rinna is an active member of Grant Thornton International's IFRS Implementation Group and speaks regularly on navigating financial reporting matters. Prior to joining Grant Thornton in Feb 2012, Rinna was with a Big 4 firm for 13 years.

Varun Sehgal is a Canadian Chartered Accountant from a Big 4 firm with over 10 years of accounting, auditing, finance, and governance experience in roles with major companies including Ernst & Young LLP, Sienna Senior Living, MBAC Fertilizer Corp., Navigant Consulting and First Canadian Title. Varun is technologically savvy and has utilized LinkedIn's platform since its early days to build a professional social presence, expand his network, find jobs and increase his influence.

Farhan Shabbir, Director, External Reporting, Manulife

Farhan Shabbir has over 14 years of experience working with financial institutions. He has worked with Citibank-Saudi where he was responsible for the bank's accounting policies, hedge and investment accounting and transaction support for mergers and acquisitions. While there he led a committee which advised the Central bank on the implementation of any new IFRS pronouncements. He also has seven years of audit experience working with PricewaterhouseCoopers and holds CPA, CA, ACA and CFA designations.

Julia Suk, Partner, Deloitte

Julia Suk is a Senior Manager within the na- tional office of Deloitte Canada. She monitors quality standards for Deloitte's public compa- ny client filings and provides advice to clients on securities filings and financial reporting. She was recently seconded to the OSC Chief Accountant's Office.

Umair Tasadduq, Manager, Accounting and Assurance Services, SF Partnership LLP

Umair Tasadduq has over 9 years of experience serving a wide variety of nationally- and internationally-listed entities, privately-held businesses, and not-for-profit organizations in the areas of accounting and assurance.
