IT Issues and the IFRS Transition

This workshop will examine issues and problems that affect the transition to IFRS. Canadian GAAP and IFRS are different in more than just the accounting standards: changes to a new system can be daunting. This workshop will answer questions about evolving concerns in the midst of IFRS transition.

  • Examining issues in relation to information technology and the IFRS transition
  • Mapping out and finalizing infrastructure changes
  • Examining IT options for the transition and exploring their pros and cons
  • Maximizing output:
    • adjusting the general ledger easily
    • revising data and amending accounts
    • amending tools and formats

MD&A Disclosures
