Entity-Level Controls: Moving beyond the Identification Stage - Using and Assessing Strength of Controls
Sanjeev Saha, Director, Advisory Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers
This workshop will closely examine entity-level controls and their role within the company. It will take delegates beyond the basic identification stage and actually assess how to document, test, and report these controls effectively. Too often the intangibility of these "soft" controls leaves companies confused as to how to effectively assess and monitor at the entity-level. Delegates will be offered the chance to see past the theory of what makes entity-level controls so critical, and learn from the experts how to properly implement and maintain these controls.
- Documenting, testing, and reporting controls effectively
- Differentiating entity-level from transactional and business process controls
- Identifying different types of entity-level controls
- Exploring how maturing entity-level controls can help reduce the effort of sustaining internal control structures
- Focusing on how the corporate culture and entity-level controls impact each other
